Birley (Penguin, 1976). The 'Lives' of Hadrian to Carus, Carinus and Numerian, translated by David Magie, were originally published in three volumes by Harvard University Press in the Loeb Classical Library series in 1921, 1924 and 1932 under the title 'Scriptores historiae Augustae'." - t.p. verso.
