The wax process was ... conceived by the artist Jean-Claude Loubières who undertook to dip all the main wax areas of design on the pages at his studio in France. The poem was written for the book by Kenneth White ... [and the images were] put forward by the artist. The design and a method of production were planned by Victoria Bean and Ron King. The final wax and letterpress printings, collation and binding were carried out at Circle Press by Ron King, Karen Bleitz and Rachel Hazell.
