"Outlines changes to the hallmarking act 1973 on permitting a wider range of goods of mixed precious metals and mixed precious metals and other materials to be hallmarked and therefore legally marketed as being made of gold, silver or platinum. After the liberalisation of mixed metal/material goods, to put in place a new regime of exemptions for goods consisting of small amounts of precious metals.
