Beyond Entropy: When Energy Becomes Form is a two-year research programme promoted by the Architectural Association and defined by the pursuit of new paradigms in the relationship between energy and space. In August 2010 the prototypes were then exhibited at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini as part of the collateral events of the 12th International Architecture Biennale in Venice. Coinciding with the opening of the Biennale, a symposium broadened the field of research even further.
