This book evolved out of a series of workshops with the Primary 7 year group at Sciennes Primary School, Edinburgh (2012). Through the 'Pencilling Creative Ideas' programme the students did workshops in character design, setting the scene, storyline, editing, publishing, marketing and advertising. In doing so they produced this book, 'Fostering hope'.
