With 3 attached paper envelopes containing facsimile plans and documents as follows: 'Bag 1' contains 4 folded sheets comprising of: Selected pages from Al-Jazari's Book of knowledge of mechanical devices, completed in 1206; Top side and end elevations of Watt's "lap" engine, 1788; Pages from Faraday's laboratory notebook, September 1821; Design drawing, 1840, of Babbage's analytical engine -- 'Bag 2' contains 4 folded sheets comprising of: German patent number DRP 37435 for Benz's gas-powered engine (2 sheets); Diagram for Edison's 1880 patent for an "electric lamp"; Tesla's drawing and notes for improvements to his alternating current induction motor, on hotel notepaper -- 'Bag 3' contains 5 folded sheets comprising of: A letter dated 28 December 1903 from Wilbur Wright to French-born American aviation pioneer Octave Chanute (3 folded sheets); Von Braun's hand-drawn design, 1964, explaining his design for how a space station could be carried in a Saturn V rocket; The first page of the historic proposal for "information management" at CERN, submitted by Berner's-Lee in March 1989.
